Peppercorn Theatre is Kaleideum’s professional theatre for young audiences and their caregivers. We produce original theatre works in order to inspire wonder, curiosity, and lifelong learning in children and our community.
Due to COVID-19, our production of Alice in Wonderland has been postponed. Check back here and keep an eye on our social media to find out when we’re able to reschedule!
Alice in Wonderland
Journey down the rabbit hole with Alice in this interactive adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic stories. Audience members are invited onstage and into an imaginative Wonderland to help Alice and friends solve problems and uncover parts of their own stories.

What We Do
Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)
Performances designed for ages 4 and up, but enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Our TYA explores themes relevant to our community through verbal, movement-based, and musical storytelling. Visit our SHOWS page for upcoming TYA mainstage performances.
Theatre for the Very Young (TVY)
Performances crafted for babies and toddlers ages 0-5 and their caregivers. TVY is visually stimulating, largely non-verbal, and often includes live music, lights, hands-on props, puppetry, and dance. Visit our SHOWS page for upcoming TVY mainstage performances.
Performance-Based Field Trips
School groups visiting Kaleideum can request the add-on of a 30-minute play performed for their class. Performances are available for PreK through 3rd grade groups, and meet a variety of NCES and Common Core State Standards. READ MORE

These sessions offer networking opportunities, hands-on activities for teaching artists to apply in their practice, and opportunities to get acquainted with local arts and arts education organizations.
