Are you looking for a fun, educational North Carolina field trip? Visit Kaleideum North for school programs to learn about science, horticulture, and the Piedmont region. Many of the Kaleideum North programs are correlated to the NC Essential Standards for Science, and they are listed in our Kaleideum Educators’ Guide.

Rates apply during the school year only. Planetarium and Education Program fees are additional. NC sales tax is included in admission prices.
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System Students: Free
All other Forsyth County Students: $4
Preschool Students: $4
Out of County School Students: $6
Teachers: Free
Chaperones: Free; however, the school year and summer chaperone ratio is 10:1. Additional chaperones beyond the 10:1 ratio
will be charged $6
Bus Drivers: Free

Home School Admission and Program Fees

Forsyth County
- Student admission is $4. One parent is free; second parent is $6.
- Instructor facilitated programs are $5.50 per child.
Outside Forsyth County
- Student admission is $6. One parent is free; second parent is $6.
- Instructor facilitated programs are $5.50 per child.
Please Note! The home school admission price is in effect on any day that Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools are in session. Proper home school identification required. On Saturdays, summer months, school holidays, snow days, and teacher work days, regular admission rates apply. Home school specific programs are offered monthly through the school year.
