Nature Explorers (March 31)
Enjoy the wild and wonderful outdoors at Kaleideum North! Campers will meet some live animals that live at Kaleideum, plant a seed to bring home, and explore the outdoors.
Creative Coding (April 3)
Join us at the intersection of technology, art, and innovation! Experiment with coding and paint to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art made by you and a ROBOT!
Potion Commotion (April 4)
Invent and test your own concoctions! Play like a scientist with droppers, measuring spoons, flasks, and test tubes, but watch out for fizzy, slimy, sticky reactions!
Minecraft Mania (April 5)
Explore the basics of coding! Embark on an adventure through the world of Minecraft and bring it to life one block at a time while defending your creations from creepers.
Brain Games (April 6)
Take a look into the secrets of the human mind and investigate how the brain works. Learn the science behind some amazing tricks while making optical illusions that will fool the eyes.
Space Quest (April 7)
3-2-1 BLAST OFF! Join us on a fantastic journey through our solar system, galaxy, and beyond. Make your own rocket, let it fly, and take a journey to space in our Planetarium!
Cardboard Challenge (April 10)
Get ready to create! From castles to rocket ships use your imagination and engineering skills to create the ultimate cardboard fort!

Get Messy, Play, and Learn with Us This Summer!
Kaleideum will be moving to a new building in downtown Winston-Salem in the fall of 2023 with a grand opening planned for early 2024. To that end, we have been diligently working to consolidate and streamline our operations into one location. During the summer of 2023, all camps will make place at one location: Kaleideum North, 400 W Hanes MIll Road.

Summer Camp Kaleideum takes place at Kaleideum North, 400 W Hanes Mill Road.

Will my child need to wear a mask during Camp?
Masks are not required for camp.
What are your sanitation and safety protocols?
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our campers, guests, staff, and animals. Kaleideum prioritizes keeping the museum clean and disinfected. Kaleideum staff follow basic hygiene practices, such as frequent handwashing and using alcohol-based sanitizers. Campers will learn and practice proper hand washing techniques.

Camp Times
Before-Care
After-Care from 4-5:30 pm
Snacks and Lunch
Full-day Campers should bring two snacks, lunch, and a water bottle.
Half-day Campers during summer months should bring one snack, lunch, and a water bottle.
Please label your child’s personal items with their first and last name.
Camper Clothing
Please send your child in clothing that is comfortable for indoor and outdoor, hands-on, messy activities. Closed shoes with socks are preferred. Please, NO flip-flops.
PRE-K and RISING KINDERGARTENERS: Please send a labeled bag with an extra set of clothing for your child.
