The reimagined Kaleideum presents our brand-new giant 360° Digital Dome Theater!

Imagine a world where you can travel through the cosmos, dive deep into meteorological phenomena, and embark on an immersive journey into the fascinating world of Science and Astronomy – all from the comfort of a cutting-edge, full-dome planetarium.

The Kaleideum laser light system is now larger and brighter than ever with an ever expanding library of music. Highlights include weekend featured artists and full length Late Night Lasers. Our Laser Shows will light up your world.

Live Planetarium Tours

Travel unique voyages of discovery with our expert guides as we explore the stars, planets, and beyond.

Set your sights on the Universe! Take live full dome tours through the night sky, solar system, and the cosmos.

Depending on the program, we’ll explore the stars & constellations or different aspects of the universe from the planets out to the great unknown.

It will truly be “cosmic.”

Full Dome Movies

Immerse yourself in a short movie projected on our giant 360° dome.

Immerse yourself in the vastness of the cosmos with full dome movies in Kaleideum’s expansive 360° digital dome.

We’ll explore the planets and further out to the extent of the universe, as well as things closer to home such as the human body and the ocean reefs.

Programs are available for all ages from those such as Hazelnuts and One World, One Sky for the younger guests to From Earth to The Universe and Universe for an older audience.

Tour the cosmos with Kaleideum’s laser based animation programs (A Brief Mystery of Time and The Great Space Chase).

Catch a MUSICAL LASER MATINEE during Kaleideum’s normal operating hours. Enjoy a themed based program such as Stranger Things or Halloween, or rock out to one of our laser artists with a different featured program every week.

This live, interactive program, will take the younger astronomers on a tour of the animals we find in the night sky. We’ll find lions, bears, dragons, dogs, bulls, and many more.

Two Small Pieces of Glass - The Amazing Telescope

Explore the wonders and discoveries made by astronomers throughout the last 400 years.

Follow two students as they interact with an astronomer at a local star party. Using two small pieces of glass, learn about the history of the telescope from Galileo’s modifications to a child’s spyglass and more – including the launch of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.

A humorous program using laser animations about the science, history, and cultural perceptions of time. Astronomical topics include black holes, worm holes, the speed of light, and the possibilities of time travel.

Hazelnuts

Nino and Lilli are two squirrels searching for super hazelnuts. In doing so, they learn about the planets of our solar system, how the Earth formed, and how life evolved. 

In the end, they find the perfect planet, one which produces the perfect hazelnuts.
