Hands-on learning awaits...

Volunteer with Kaleideum

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Kaleideum depends on community support and involvement in the form of volunteers to ensure its successful operation. We encourage talented and dedicated individuals to help the museum accomplish its mission of providing exceptional educational experiences.

Volunteers supplement, as well as complement the Kaleideum staff. They offer a positive, personal interaction with our guests and enhance the overall guest experience. By providing support, volunteers contribute to the smooth operation of the museum, which is vital in maintaining the organization’s commitment to excellence.

By sharing their time, knowledge, and creativity, volunteers make an investment in the future of not only Kaleideum, but in our community as well.

Things to know:

  1. Minimum age to volunteer is 15, unless otherwise indicated
  2. Experience working in the arts, science, and with children is helpful, but not required
  3. Volunteers are asked to volunteer two hours per month, but are welcome to volunteer more
  4. We do not offer night time volunteer hours unless otherwise reached out-to for an event, such as our Kaleideum After Dark events. Please visit our Hours and Admission page to see what our daily open hours are.
