Accessbility at Kaleideum

At Kaleideum, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can explore, learn, and thrive together. Guided by our mission to foster a diverse, equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning ecosystem, we provide accommodations and resources to ensure all visitors feel supported and valued.

We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Our accessibility features are designed to honor the unique needs of each individual and create an environment where all guests feel empowered to participate fully in the museum experience.

Coming Soon

Kaleideum is currently updating the museum’s social narratives and visual schedules, written from a visitor’s perspective, for the new location. These will be available to download and will help you and your child familiarize yourselves with Kaleideum before your visit.

Every First Monday

Join us on the first Monday of each month for a quieter, more relaxed museum experience. With lower attendance, Sensory-Friendly Mondays provide the perfect opportunity to explore the museum at your own pace in a calm and welcoming environment.

Available at Front Desk

Sensory backpacks are available at the Welcome Desk to enhance your museum experience. Each backpack is filled with tools like noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, and visual aids to support sensory needs and provide a more comfortable visit for all guests.

Space Designed for You

Located on every floor of the museum, our Quiet and Wellness Rooms offer a serene space for relaxation, calming down, or enjoying a quiet moment. These rooms feature cozy seating, soothing books, sensory-friendly toys, and are a welcoming space for breastfeeding. They are designed to support your family’s comfort during your visit.

First Floor Wellness Room is located across from the family restroom.

Second Floor Wellness Room is located across from the family restroom.

Third Floor Wellness Room is located across from the family restroom.

Fourth Floor Wellness Room is located inside the Little Learners gallery.
