Homeschool Days
Homeschool Days will replace our monthly Homeschool programming for the 2025-26 school year.
Homeschool Innovators: Robotics and Engineering
October 8, 2025 9 – 5pm
Get ready to design, build, and innovate! During this special Homeschool Day, students will explore the exciting worlds of robotics and engineering through hands-on challenges and interactive activities. Dive into the engineering design process as you construct simple machines, experiment with circuits, and explore how robots sense and move. Then, put your creativity to the test by programming robots to complete tasks and solve real-world problems. Whether your learner is just beginning their engineering journey or already dreaming of a career in robotics, this day will spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and inspire future innovators.
Homeschool Neuroscience Day: Brain Power with Wake Forest University’s Brain Awareness Council
March 14, 2026 9 – 5pm
Explore the amazing power of the human brain! During this special Homeschool Day, students will dive into the world of neuroscience
to learn how our brains control everything we think, feel, and do. Investigate how neurons communicate, test your senses with hands-on challenges, and discover how different parts of the brain work together to help you move, learn, and remember. Students will leave
with a greater understanding of how their brains keep them alive, learning, and growing every day.
