Streets of Fire, Safe Kids Day + Kaleideum Kids Parade
May 23 @ 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Get ready for an action-packed afternoon and evening as Kaleideum partners with Gears & Guitars and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist to kick off Streets of Fire—a high-energy celebration of cycling, safety, and community fun!
From 3:30-6:30 pm, join us for a special Safe Kids Day event in partnership with Safe Kids Northwest Piedmont at Brenner Children’s Hospital. This nationwide initiative raises awareness about preventable injuries — the No. 1 cause of death in children in the United States — through engaging, hands-on activities. Safe Kids and their partners will provide education on bike safety and more.
We’ll keep the fun rolling with kid-powered activities, including a Kaleideum Kids Bike Parade! Decorate your bike, don your helmet, and join the parade as we celebrate safe riding and the joy of movement.
As the sun goes down, the night will light up along 4th Street for dragrace-style street sprints featuring both professional and amateur bikers in a competitively charged atmosphere along restaurant row. Street Sprint Racing will take place from 7-9 pm.
AND there will be free LIVE MUSIC all evening! Don’t miss this exciting evening in downtown Winston-Salem!
