Meet Kaleideum's Animal Ambassadors

Join us every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in ‘Our Nature’ at 11:30 AM. Our Animal Care specialists will introduce you to one of our animals and share all the best facts with visitors!

Recommended for Visitors of All Ages. Be aware that snakes and other reptiles will occasionaly make an appearance.

Around the World

Travel to a new continent each week in January with hands-on activities! During our Around the World monthly theme, participants will explore global cultures through engaging art projects, engineering challenges, and creative play inspired by each destination.

January 3–4: Design a vibrant stained-glass window using colorful tissue paper

January 10–11: Create your own mask inspired by traditional African folk art

January 17–18: Learn how windmills work and design one of your own

January 24–25: Craft a Costa Rican carreta or weave a Guatemalan-style basket

January 31–February 1: Build a mini diorama of a favorite landmark from around the world

Little Innovators

Little Innovators is a hands-on program for young children that sparks creativity and curiosity through fun stories, art, and science activities.

It’s a Snowy State (of matter)  | January 14, 3:30 pm

It’s frozen fun as we investigate the states of matter to make our own snow, paint with ice cubes, and create frozen marshmallows!

Out of this World | January 31, 10:30 pm

We’ll travel to the stars and back again as we learn more about our solar system, hunt for moon rocks, and discover why there’s no air in space: 3…2..1..Blast Off!

$5 per ticket. (Ticket includes one adult with one Pre-K Innovator. Adult must attend with child.) Museum admission is not included.
