Meet Kaleideum's Animal Ambassadors

Join us every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in ‘Our Nature’ at 11:30 AM. Our Animal Care specialists will introduce you to one of our animals and share all the best facts with visitors!

Recommended for Visitors of All Ages. Be aware that snakes and other reptiles will occasionally make an appearance.

Opposites Attract

In the Try It! Studio, dive into the science and creativity of opposites. Through hands-on exploration, visitors will investigate concepts like fast and slow, push and pull, and cause and effect—revealing how opposing forces shape the world around us.

Jan 27-Feb 1: Build a mini diorama showcasing your favorite world landmark

Feb 7–8: Discover the magic of magnets — craft your own to take home

Feb 14–15: Design heartfelt art and a standing photo frame for your valentine

Feb 21–22: Welcome the Lunar New Year by creating your zodiac animal

Feb 28–Mar 1: Experiment with motion as you invent and decorate your own spinning top

Little Innovators

Little Innovators is a hands-on program for young children that sparks creativity and curiosity through fun stories, art, and science activities.

Sense-abilities   | February 11, 3:30 pm

We’ll put our five senses to work as we trick our eyes, identify mystery sounds, detect flavors and fragrances, and test out different textures for some sense-sational fun! 

All About Animals | February 28, 10:30 pm

Come explore the differences in animal groups as we examine fur, feathers, and scales up close, learn about animal habitats, and even meet some live animal friends!

$5 per ticket. (Ticket includes one adult with one Pre-K Innovator. Adult must attend with child.) Museum admission is not included.
