Get out of the cold and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of engineering and construction. This Sunday, January 26, at 2 pm, you’ll have the chance to win great prizes (including a KEVA set valued at $58) when you and your team race to see who can build the fastest tall structure tower with KEVA building planks!
This contest is included with museum admission, but teams MUST pre-register no latter than NOON on Friday! Contest is limited to 20 teams.
What are KEVA planks? KEVA planks are building materials that are precision cut, identical in size and shape, and made of Midwest hardwood maple. The blocks are recommended for almost any age – 3 to 103 – and are equally appealing to girls and boys.
The planks require no sorting, no connectors, no glue – just simple stacking. And they can be turned into some of the coolest structures and shapes with just a little creativity, collaboration and perserverance!
To register your team, e-mail Ally McCauley at amccauley@sciworks.org, or call (336) 714-7109 no later than NOON on FRIDAY!
