A special group of RJ Reynolds High School students is using their 14th annual musical fundraiser, A Cappella Jam for Hope on Saturday, January 18 at RJ Reynolds Auditorium, as a fundraiser for Kaleideum this year.
Matt Sallee from Pentatonix will be the emcee for A Cappella Jam for Hope. A Cappella groups from high schools and colleges throughout North Carolina will perform, including:

- The Clef Hangers (UNC-Chapel Hill), which will also be performing at a February 9 concert at RJ Reynolds Auditorium
- Treble Attraction (Appalachian State University)
- Standing Ovation (Pfeiffer University)
- High Seas (UNC Wilmington)
- Davidson Delilahs (Davidson College)
- Drastic Measures (East Carolina University)
- Offbeats (High Point University)
- Win-pipes (Wingate University)
A Cappella Jam for Hope begins at 7 pm, and the minimum suggested donation amount at the door is $8 per person.
“Funds above and beyond museum admission and membership benefit the community by helping us provide outreach memberships, as well as free and discounted Kaleideum field trip programs for Forsyth County schools,” says Elizabeth Dampier, Kaleideum Executive Director. “We are very grateful for the support of these local high schoolers, many of whom grew up exploring the Museums with their families and participating in school field trips to the museum.”
